We work with you to create a rotation schedule tailored to your business requirements, whether it’s Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
Barcode tracking technology creates a verifiable audit trail for every item in your media inventory the moment it’s sent offsite or delivered back to you. Portable handheld scanners provide point-to-point tracking and a chain of custody.
Our media management system generates reports and can adjust your rotation schedule as needed.
Secure Tape Rotation
Data Storage Centers is committed to the security of your data. We ensure the critical data your business will need to continue to operate successfully, should a disaster occur. This includes the physical storage of your media. We will never use third-party couriers for the delivery of your media. All tape rotations are performed by our own screened, uniformed DSC personnel, using GPS-tracked vehicles. Tape Vaulting and Rotation
Data Storage Centers uses our inventory management software for maintaining rotations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The primary purpose of this methodology is to provide a standard and consistent interval at which to rotate and retire the media.
This method will be used to implement your tape rotation schedule. DSC can implement three rotation sets for daily, weekly, monthly schedules.
Project Overview
DSC will assign a dedicated “Project Manager” responsible for providing your company with account management support and coordination during the initial intake process and an on-going basis with service and support. The Project Manager will communicate all relevant information regarding the transfer project to you.
